Mera Peak is one of the highest trekking peaks in Nepal. Situated at the altitude of 6,476 meters it is the perfect point for enjoying the world’s five 8,000+ meters mountains: Kangchenjunga, Makalu, Lhotse, Cho Oyu and, of course, Everest.

For experienced and fit trekkers the route is not difficult from the technical point of view, as the snow slopes elevation rarely exceeds 30 degrees. This is one of the reasons why this trek is becoming more popular every year.

But don’t forget about acclimatization. The main difficulty of Mera Peak trek is the altitude difference and the acclimatization period is highly recommended for everyone.
