The world’s highest Saribung pass trek is only a journey to the heart of the mountains, but also to a history of times.
A frozen Saribung Pass is situated at the altitude of 6,042 meters, which makes this trek one of the most difficult and demanding in Nepal. This is one of the highest passes in the country from where you can enjoy an amazing panorama of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain range.

Besides, Saribung Pass trek is one of the most interesting from a historical point of view, as it will lead you along the territory of an ancient Mustang kingdom. This kingdom existed here from the end of the XIV century till the year of 2008. Now this area is a part of Nepal and is called Upper Mustang.

Culturally and geographically this district is very similar to Tibet. So, you will not only enjoy the spectacular views of the mountains, but also will learn a lot about the history of Nepal and neighbouring counties.

Snow peaks, deep canyons, caves, cliffs, valleys and spectacular 16-th century monasteries are waiting for you. And also, you will introduce yourself with the local people, living in the territory, and called Shamanism.
